Our park is located in North Ayrshire, a stones throw away from a selection of beautiful beaches and only a short walk to nearby parks. Eglington country park is steeped in Local history including the prominent ruin of Eglington Castle. It is easily reached by our well connected cycling routes and walking paths near Greenacres. Castle ruins, local monuments, walking paths and swing parks make it a perfect family day out.
The nearby Ardeer Quarry is the perfect location to walk your dog and spot the annual signets and if you're lucky you'll be able to catch a deer wandering the expansive grasslands.

Easy access to Scotland's Western Isles
Catch the ferry, at Ardrossan Harbour, to escape the mainland to the Isle of Arran - filled with nature walks and local history Arran is the perfect location for families and hill walkers alike. Standing at 874 metres high Goat Fell is a great walk for everyone to get involved and for the experienced it's a perfect hill for stretching the legs!
If you're not up to Goat Fell, don't worry, visit Brodick or nip round to Lochranza and have a dram at the Isle of Arran Distillery.

Our park sits along the National Cycle Network (NCN) which is a network of over 12,000 miles of routes throughout the whole UK.
These include traffic-free paths and scenic cycle routes and lanes. NCN Route 7 - runs North to South throughout North Ayrshire, passing through Irvine and Kilwinning. NCN Route 73 - runs East to West from Kilmarnock to Ardrossan - connecting Irvine, Kilwinning and The Three Towns.
Perfect for experienced cyclists and families venturing to Eglington park by bike as it's a short 15 minutes by bike!
